We’re honored by your interest in Mathoshree Ambubai Residential School. It’s our joy to welcome visually impaired girls into a caring and empowering environment where they receive quality education, life skills, and residential care—entirely free of cost.

Admission process
Eligibility criteria for admission
The school caters exclusively to visually impaired girls between the ages of 6 and 18 years.
Girls transferring from other institutions for the visually impaired are also eligible for admission, subject to the submission of a valid Transfer Certificate and academic marks sheet.
Documents required
- A certificate of visual impairment issued by a competant medical board
- Parent or guardian's income certificate
- Birth certificate
- Three recent passport-size photographs
- Transfer Certificate (if transferring from another school)
- Marksheet of the last examination (if applicable)
Once we receive and verify all documents, and the student meets the eligibility criteria, admission will be confirmed—subject to seat availability. If you have any questions or need help at any stage, our team is just a call or visit away. We’re here to guide you through every step of the process.
